Orienteering in paradise

I got the chance to run two times in a weekend - I just could not say no to such an opportunity

This was a race in one of the very finest forests I knew about, the Paradise" nature reserve. And this was an "ultra orienteering" race which means longer courses than usual, and mass start, so it is OK to follow other runners. But as my running shape is not the best, soon I ran alone. In this kind of pristine magic forest painted by powdered snow, that wasn't such a bad thing since I had no cometitive ambitions today. I saw a few people here and there, but continued running alone the whole time. The last quarter of the race I really started to feel this blood sugar drop - I had no water and energy with me - so the finish line were exactly at the right place.
