Forest Detour Blog
An explanation.
Starting Forest Detour was in a way a method I long wanted to try. I love to go out and run, had no problem getting out. The problem was time, having family and a job to do, I had almost no time for running. And when I actually did run, this was so precious for me so I wanted to maximise my experience. I started filming my way through the forest, and edit this. Putting it on youtube and make small projects of it made me happy. Not caring of making the best ever content, just making it for fun. Later I made small projects for myself to explore this a little bit more. Creating memories of what I liked the most gave me something. Having a on-going project is something I have realized is important.
Combining this with this old school text-and-image-based blog, this is a natural way to extend my ambition to keep my "every-day adventures" in a journal form, and inviting others to see for those intrested.
Not knowing exactly the next step, I will keep on writing and filming. Soon it is 2024, and then it will probably become more clear where this path I run on will take me. Until then I just continue going out in the forest.
